Review on the Breville BOV800XL The Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ. My mother told me she wanted a new countertop convection oven for her birthday so I figured I could get online and buy one real quick. After looking on Amazon, I realized there are many different kinds and features to these ovens. I researched them and here is my review on my favorite, the Breville BOV800XL.

Technical Details
This oven is an 1800 watt convection oven which allows plenty of “power” to do all your baking, roasting, toasting, and broiling. A convection oven is much better than a traditional oven since it utilizes a fan to move the hot air around your food. The movement of the air allows your food to be cooked much more evenly, shorter cooking time, and at a lower temperature. This is great since lower temperature and shorter cooking time reduces energy, therefore saves you money! The element IQ technology is utilized for smarter control over the heat including 9 pre-set functions; toast, bagel, bake, roast, broil, pizza, cookies, reheat, or warm. Each of those 9 settings comes with its own pre-programmed temperature and cooking time, eliminating the guesswork. It also features 5 quartz heating elements on the top and bottom of the unit to ensure thorough cooking of your food inside and out. A nice bright blue back-lit LED screen makes it effortless to operate the oven and to see the temperature, function, and adjustments made. Additional features include 3 rack positions, a wire rack that ejects halfway out of the oven for safe removal of hot food, a top surface that can be used as a warming tray, and a removable crumb tray for easy clean up. The oven also includes a 13” pizza pan, a 12×12 baking pan, and a 12×12 broil rack.
